I've recently asked this of my obst team, whatever you were doing before is fine. It's if you weren't doing any exercise then decide to start in pregnancy that it's not good. Do it until you don't feel comfortable doing it anymore, most women find they can still run until mid second trimester. Our bodies protect our uterus and the growing baby remarkably well

Just to add to that stopping exercise would also cause issues with your body, if you were very active (6 days a week exercise) it actually can put added pressure on your body to shock it into stopping suddenly

I work out normally too. This is my third pregnancy and Ijust walk the treadmill and do the elliptical. You probably should not being doing ab or cardio workouts. While pregnant slow down and be safe.

Working out is a good thing and perfectly safe in the first trimester . I have found that it helps calm down the morning sickness and helps with my fatigue levels. I have been doing a low key workout which includes Ab work, lower back exercises, glute work and Kegel exercises. I have found some great videos on YouTube for 1st trimester workouts. Pilates and pre-natal Yoga come highly recommended.
