It was no different than any other vaginal birth, they just monitor you a little bit more because they are watching for signs of your uterus rupturing.
For me it was the best decision I made.
Have you looked into the VBAC requirements?
I had a successful VBAC 5/2014, after a c-section in 12/2011, I am now 5
1/2 weeks pregnant and I plan on another VBAC.
You just have to find a doctor that supports your decision, and also make sure you meet the requirements.
But it sounds like you have a good chance of a VBAC.
