C sec and epidural

I had my baby via c section in February and epidural was given I insisted on being given general anaesthesia but my husband didn't co operate with me neither did the doctor. Now after almost four months i still have severe back pain I can't use my legs like i used to i feel paralysed at times if i sit on the ground I can't get up someone has to help me up or i have to grab a chair or table to get up I can't stand more then half an hour my legs go numb. Please if someone has had an epidural help me understand when this pain is going to go away.
