5 wk & 6 days pregnant, but concerned

My name is Ashley and I am 20 expecting my first childin January 2009! I had a previous miscarriage in November but I was told that my uterus was perfectly normal and that i should go on to have a normal pregnancy! Up until yesterday everythign was fine and then i started having brown fluid coming out! Not red or heavy just brown! I do not have any pain in my lower abdomen and I was just wondering if I should be concerned or if this is normal sometimes!?
Thank you

I have had two previous m/c, and I am now pregnant and on my way to having our first child. I have had a brown tint to my mucus every time I wipe after going to the bathroom, sorry tmi. I can tell it is blood, but it isnt too much. Anyway, I have seen the doc and had two u.s so far and everything is going along as it should. Brown blood is old blood. Meaning, it has sat around in the vagina long enough for it to turn brown. Therefore, there is no fresh flow. During early pregnnacy your hormones go bonkers and blood flow increases down there, so your cervix and bleed a little now and again. Do not worry unless there is a significant amount of blood and it is red. Congratulations Mommy!
