Anna Catherine has arrived!!!

Anna Catherine has arrived on Jan. 20 at 40 weeks and 1 day via c-section after 8 hours of labor and pushing.  My labor was progressing very smoothly but unfortunately our Anna was facing face up and was pushing on my pelvic bone instead of my birth canal.  So, I ended up having a c-section.  She was 6 pounds and 13 ounces at birth and 19.5 inches long.  She is doing great and I can't wait for my milk to come in!!!

Congratulations on your delivery!   I am sorry that you had to go through 8 hours of labor and pushing before the C-section though, poor thing, you had the pains of both forms of delivery!
