FREAKING OUT

Well as some of you know I have been having really bad pain between my legs and now my lower back when i walk, sorta like a pressure feeling.  It has been going on for a week and 1/2 now and just seems to be getting more painful.  So I called the on call doctor a minute ago and she said that I need to call and make and appointment first thing in the morning to be seen tomorrow.  She really scared me.  She said it could be a number of things that could be causing the pain and that it might be a cyst which is the least of my worries.  I am just so worried it is going to be something more.  She acted like it was really serious.  She also said I am only 5 weeks which doesnt make sense.  My last period was on April 1st and I ovulated on April 18th I think.  According to fertility friend I am 8 weeks today and the babies age is 6 weeks.  Anyone?

i had back pain and pressure between my legs with all my pregnancies. the first two i miscarried but this time things look better. my doc told me the more times you have been pregnant the more your back will ache even in the first trimester. if the pain is very severe i would go to the ER. some things shouldnt wait. Good luck!

I definatly think your doctor is way wrong about the due dates and how far along you are, you are 8 weeks for sure.   What time is your appointment today??  Hang in there, I am sure that everything is okay and it is just normal pregnancy pains....

She made a mistake on your dates.  You are 8 weeks. My start date of LMP was April 4th, and they have me at 7W4D.  And they always act so serious on the phone, I think they just hear stories like ours so often, they get kind of numb about it.  There are always so many things that can cause our issues, from cramping to bleeding etc. and only 1 of them is the worse case scenario.  More often then not, its nothing to worry about.  But like Kash said, I would get your feet up and try to rest up.  Its actually good they are seeing you right away, it always helps relieve the stress!

I am sure all will be well, take good care,

Amanda
