As predicted....

So just as aI predicted the m/s is easing off a bit and I am freaking out.  It is not gone all the way, I am still mildly queasy, but not the violent vommiting and heaving that has been going on for a week+ now.   This scares me because with my last m/c my m/s went away almost immediatly after we found no fetal h/b, and the m/s went away  before I started bleeding or cramping.  I know, I know, I need to count it as a blessing and be happy it has eased up, it doesnt nessesarily mean anything bad. But, I am wondering, are any of you having an easing up of your m/s at around 8 weeks, not to where it is gone, just much better????

Doc signed me off for a week but said he will sign me off til 12 weeks of I don't feel better.

Found a cure fr my M/S though...Ginger ale. Sipping it every 15 minutes or whenever I feel sick. It's fab I eve managed to eat something.

Still very tired and have odd cramps though. Gonna take it easy all week and try to do something each day. I get out of breath just going to toilet but the sickness was the main thing at work. I have sinks in my lab but I ca hardly teach while throwing up in the sink...good thing about this time of year though is that timetable gradually reduces as exam groups leave so in a couple of weeks I will have 5 hours less a week to teach and 10 hours less when year 10 go on work experience so that will help me loads.

OH, I know just how you feel!! :(  You poor thing!! I could keep crackers and water down.  I remember my doctors telling me to drink Gatorade, but when I smelt that, anything that was in my stomach would come up.  I ate yogurt..that seemed to help alittle.  I've heard sliced apples (acid) and milk in the morning helps...I haven't tried that.

The cleaning and cooking part is tough.  But DH probably understands how you're feeling and probably would help you.  My doctor would give me a note to stay out of work for a week, then when that week was up, I'd call into work and they would get so made at me.  But they have to understand that I couldn't even walk, I was so dehydrated.  I couldn't remember the minute after something happened I was just too sick.  I worked as a store manager for a small town grocery store.  So it was no great loss when I quit that job.  They were threatening me to come in or they were going to fire me.  Here I was, sick as hell, going to get rehydrated at the hospital 3 times a week, and they were telling me that!?!  I couldn't handle that anymore, so that's when I quit.  Glad I did.

I wish everyone here luck....never heard of Preggo pops, but love to try them!! :)

I should have read this earlier, I have had the most terrible week for nausea, fatigue and feel queasy. I haven't been able to sit up all week. I feel one of three ways constantly, that hangover feeling when you can't get out of bed because you know you'l be sick, or that full feeling when you've pigged out (this is how I feel if I eat anything or that feeling when you're getting ill and know it's going to be sickness and poops.

NOTHING has stopped it and I am actually puking up my meals so I don't feel like I'm retaining any goodness.

I am not going into work tomorrow because I can't teach through this an the fact that my bladder appears to be the size of a walnut and I pee nearly every 30 minutes. I'm hoping the Doctor will sign me off for another week (just been on half term) to see how it goes but that will make me 8 weeks and hopefully it will ease up from what you guys say.....

I thought I was having a hard time because I've got two!! I feel so inadequate and useless because I can hardly move and I'm not doing the cleaning or cooking and there are lots o pregnant women at my school and they seem to cope.

Anyone got anything that works??? I ordered some preggie pops to see if they will help but I have to wait for them to arrive

You are so lucky you have m/s.  I have no symptoms and I am freaking out about that.  Send some of that m/s my way!!!  :)

I am glad your symptoms are back.  I know it is a great comfort.

i will be in week 9 on tusday and I am feeling much better the last few days also. Week 7and 8 were horrible but it seems to be getting better.  I too have thought that maybe it's because we are going to miscarry but I am trying really hard to stay POSITIVE!!!

I threw up, several times yea!!!!!

Isnt it funny to say that?  I am throwing up and happy about it, funny how pregnancy changes ones outlook isnt it?

It seems that maybe my pattern has just changed. Instead of feeling terrible every second I feel okay, then out of nowhere I throw up, it is always right after I eat. But I am happy about this, because I am able to eat some things (there is not a lot that sounds good) then I just throw up a little of it, but I am keeping some of it down, which means I am getting some nutrients!

Talk about TMI huh?  Sorry, I wanted to share my joy : ) Lots of love to everyone!!!

Your RE honestly told you that around 8 weeks it will start to ease up?? That makes me feel much better, I had always heard more toward the end of trimeser #1.  I guess I am really sensitive right now, this is when we lost our last baby  :  (    I need to know everything is okay and see a h/b again,  but last time I went to the ER my portion of the bill after insurance paid was  $500, wow!   I guess I will just wait and pray  : )

Thanks belly buddy, your a lifesaver!    : )
