I am so ready....

I'm sure we are all thinking the same thing at this point. I found out at my appt last tuesday that the little guy is going to be over or right at 8 lbs at our next doctors visit. The little guy is measuring at 39 weeks at this point even though I am not quite (but close to) 38 weeks. Sex tends to cause alot of menstrual like cramping, but nothing else. I've tried pacing since its been raining so I've been walking around the house. My next appointment is Tuesday and I would give anything to go into labor before that appointment. Doc said he doesn't want him to get too much bigger because we would be discussing a c-section again. BLAH! You all know how much I would like to avoid that. I think an induction is on the table at this point. I would need to reconsider my no drugs birthing policy if we were to induce because the contractions are so much more unbearable than regular delivery.

How was everyones Christmas? I got a new digital camera, which is exactly what I wanted.

I have to say there is a part of me that is so glad to be done being pregnant, although big parts that I miss too.  As Im reading your posts Im remembering all of the anxiousness and pains of pregnancy. Heres to hoping that your babies come soon (in a time frame that is good for their health) and you are able to enjoy your babies soon!!

I am ready as well, but I am only 37.5 weeks, but am measuring a little ahead. They estimated his weight last week at 6lb14oz, but it can be off a pound in either direction.. I am ready to meet my little man.. I am so uncomfortable! NOTHING going on yet though. My next appointment is Monday.. I am getting impatient.. I am hoping for a New Years Day baby! I am not "officially" due until Jan. 13th, but I havebeen given a due dates of:

Jan. 18th
Jan.13th
Jan. 10th
Jan.8th
Jan. 6th..

So WHO KNOWS!!!

I'm feeling the EXACT same way! I will be 39 weeks on Tuesday and have a doctors appt again on Monday. I was debating on whether or not I wanted to last to January or not. If I make it to January my baby will start school one year later than if he/she was born in December. Not too sure whether it is better to be the youngest or the oldest in the class?

I think I may have had my first Braxton Hicks contractions today. Not quite sure though. It could have just been a tummy ache but at first I got so excited thinking I was going to be going in labour!!

I'd really  just like to see the baby now. I want to know if it's a he or a she, and I am so excited to see what he/she looks like!

I am so there with you. I'll be 39wks this coming Monday and I have an appointment. I hope to not make it. I've been walking and I'm about to dance around my living room. Sending labor dust your way! Maybe we'll both go into labor tonight!
