Well I had to cancel my first pre-natal appointment that was supposed to be today. I made such a big deal out of getting it done early so they could monitor my hCG levels since the last two pregnancies resulted in m/c's and I was so excited to go for bloodwork to make sure that my levels doubled since Sunday night, but I couldn't go. I blame my fiancee. He was supposed to drop the car off to get inspected last night and didn't and I wasn't going to drive the un-inspected car to the doctor across town cuz' my luck, I'd get pulled over! I called and the nurse gave me sh*t again about not getting in for another 3-4weeks and I threw a fit and got an appointment for NEXT Wednesday at 9:15am and I'm NOT missing this one. Sorry I'm rambling, I just want to make sure that all is well in this pregnancy and I'm a little upset that Adam (FH) couldn't do this one thing KNOWING I had to drive today :(

I am glad that you are feeling good. But, I think that the no script for bloodwork thing is rubbish. Why do you need to be seen by a nurse first?? Honestly I cannot understand why that is nessesary....

i asked if i could just come pick the script up and she told me no, i should be seen by a nurse first...i guess its a good thing that i feel ok for the most part. i only get a little stretching, almost like rubber band sensation on my left side. im going insane though from running back and forth to the bathroom. everytime i use the toilet im expecting the worst. im taking it all one day at a time and although it's killing me, im thankful i get each day that i do.

I'm sorry that you weren't able to make the appointment today.  Is there no way that you can have blood work ordered through an outside lab, like maybe through the hospital and that way you could at least have that done before next wednesday, it could give you something to feel confident in. I know that next Wednesday is a WHOLE week away, I am sorry that you have to wait for that, but at least that is better than another month like the nurse initially said.
