Nursing???
My milk never came in and Alec is 8 days old. I finally gave up because he was getting frustrated and it broke my heart. Has anyone else had problems? It is kind of a letdown for me.
Lyra is now 3 weeks old and i have been breast feeding her from the start. Are you sure your milk never came in? did you speak with a laction consultant? I was all worried in the beggining that she wasnt getting enough because it seemed like all she wanted to do was nurse, turns out she just liked using me as a pacifier. did you try pumping? She had Jaundice in the first week so on day 4 I began pumping for her so we could make sure she was eating enough to get rid of it. personaly i like pumping better so dh can help with feeding. theres a pill they can give you to increase milk supply, i had a friend who had to use it. i wouldnt give up just yet if you havent sought help.
