UPDATE ON JACK AND KALEN

Not sure what I have told you, think I might have told you all about the anus situation and how my boys needs to poo to avoid surgery.
Well they pooed!!!! So, they got transferred back to original hospital they were in. Since then they have been tolerating the milk feeds really well and have been uograded to 'special' care which is one stage less than intensive care. None of the other babies in this part are as young as Jack and Kalen. The Doctors are both very surprised and impressed that boys are doing so well. Thanks for praying for us but please don't stop because I'm sure that's what's helping them.
Today they asked if I would like to be trained to put a gastric tube in the boys and taught how to feed them through the tube. This way I might get to take them home early (maybe for Xmas). I am hoping though that they take to the breast feeding realy well so they won't need the tubes.
Also today for the very first time I chnaged Kalens nappy and gave home a wash!!! Then I got to hold him and he was so tiny, it was like holding a little doll.
I will get to do this for Jack tomorrow :))

I am so glad that they are doing well!  Better yet, I am glad that they poo'd, I didn't want them to have to have surgery, and I know that you didn't!  Hopefully you will be able to have them home for Christmas, as good as they are doing I bet that you will!  Keep us updated....
