Pain after hysterectomy

I had a hysterectomy 9.5 weeks ago and am still having abdominal pain, especially on right side.  Ovaries, liver, and gallbladder all look fine.  They did find an echogenic mass they say is a collection of blood.  They said it is not enough to cause the pain but because it grew 7 tenths in two weeks they are going to do a laproscopy to clean it out and check everything else.  I am SO frustrated.  Any opinions on what could be causing the pain?
