bloating and eating

Anyone finding out that they are not being able to eat nearly half as much as they used to?  My goodness, I eat a regular sandwich, a handful of Cheez-Its and an apple and I am SOOOOO uncomfortable for the rest of the day.  I try to eat small meals like every 2 hours but it is getting hard. I am not sure I am supposed to fit in all my nutrients for this baby when I can barely eat. AHHH

I WAS constantly starving but now I'm at the point where I'm also not able to eat as much anymore. I get really bloated and then of course comes the heartburn. I'm almost scared to eat now! I've also noticed that I seem to be getting morning sickness again. I've thrown up twice in 2 weeks when I was puke free since August. :(

Happens to me too sometimes. I hear its because while baby grows, he/she pushes on your stomach and intestines, making it harder to digest and eat full meals. The best thing to do is eat smaller meals, more frequently throughout the day. It should help a bit. And eat lots of fruit and veggies and whole grains. They will help a lot to get your bowels moving.

I have noticed that I can't eat as much in one sitting. But I sometimes get hungry a couple hours later.

I also get breathless pretty easily and feel short of breath. I started taking a prenatal yoga class and I go through 2-3 breaths in the time that the instructor is going through 1 full breath.

Finally, when I go to the bathroom - which I do almost every hour - I don't empty my bladder completely. Even if I don't have anything to eat or drink, I'll still have to go an hour later and an hour after that.... I think the bean is sitting on the bladder and preventing me from emptying it completely.

Plus my nose is permanently blocked and I've started getting nosebleeds.

Right I think I'm finished listing my complaints now!!

Oh and I'm also having difficulty filling my lungs completely now and often feel kind of short of breath.  I guess baby is starting to take up a lot of room in there.

Yeah, I have a similar problem too these days.  It feels like my stomach is being squished and can't hold much.  Which is a pity cos I feel like stuffing my face!!

I have more problems with this as the day wears on....

Breakfast is ok, lunch is fine (that's when I'm hungriest) then dinner is a bit harder...and forget about eating in the evening - I have heartburn then.

I think that snacking throughout the day is a great idea, and smaller meals.

I have this problem as well.  i cannot seem to eat much or I feel sick.  I have been nauseated and sick since 6 weeks after finding out i was pregnant and have not been able to eat much of anything.  So, I totally understand where you are coming from.
