update

Well, I had my 28 week appointment and everything was great!  Blood pressure is wonderful and I have only gained 18 pounds thus far (which is good for me because I am a big girl).  I got the H1N1 vaccine and my glucose screening came back great (no 3 hour test for me).  My C-section has been scheduled for January 28th.  That really made the reality of this pregnancy hit home.  On January 28th I am going to be a mommy! I have another ultrasound on the 25th of November, so hopefully this baby will cooperate and let us know what it is, but only time will tell!  If not, what a great surprise it will be! I can't believe it! Anyway, just wanted to share my good news! Hope everyone is enjoying their pregnancy!

I have chosen to get a c-section because I have a very bad back.  I have three herniated discs and while my neuro surgeon told me a c-section is not necessary, she tell me that after giving birth vaginally I may be in worse shape than I was.  I can see taking the chances of getting home and not being able to move because of my back, so I opted for the c-section.
