Anyone else have back pains?

For the last month or so I have had terrible back pains from sitting for too long. I try and reposition myself but just cant seem to get comfortable. I sit all day at a desk because I have an office job and dont think at this point there is anything I can do to help it. I walk around every hour just for circulation and it seems to help a bit. Anyone else having back pain or is there anything I can do to make it not so bad?

I say as long as the waste basket is comfortable, go for it!  i sometimes wish mine was higher.  And sometimes, when I'm on a long conferance call, with my door closed, I rest my feet up on one of my guest chairs - LOL!!  The back thing is great!!  I'm going to keep it even after the pg.  It was like $5.99 at Walgreens!

Ohhhh, a back massage from DH sounds divine . . . so does a foot massage!!  But my DH has been out of town for a couple of weeks and he still has another 4 weeks of work.  Let's see if I can talk him into it when he gets home :D

Thanks for the suggestions!! I would definitely love a back massage from DF every night but I know he is tired just like me and I always feel guilty asking. Guess I need to start speaking up! Good suggestion on the back support for your chair. I will have to look into something like that. I did have a foot rest thingy but it wasnt comfortable so now I use my waste basket haha Do you think the higher elevation is bad?

I've had back pain during all my pregnancies from about 6 months. It would have to be one of the most common pregnancy complaints. I recommend massages from hubby EVERY night! Heat packs are good also.

I have an office job too.  I get up and walk every hour or so, just for the circulation.  I also bought a thing that fits over my chair, from Walgreens, that helps my posture.  It's a curvy thing that fits along the base of my spine.  I know, bad explanation.  I also have a little step thingy that I put my feet on.  It keeps them slightly elevated through the day.  I think both those things help so that I don't have such a sore back.  You might also be able to try a heating pad, or ice pack . . . I don't know which would work better?

However, when I am shopping, or bending over a lot I get terrible back aches!!  That I don't know what to do about.
