yeah i have the same but i got them at like 16 weeks
mentioned to doctor she says its normal as this is my 4th baby and things happen earlier the more you have and i still get them like every now and then mostly when driving but yeah they uncomfortable hope thats all it is take care
A lot of what we might be feeling is "round ligament pain." These are the ligaments that hold the uterus. As we are getting larger, these ligaments will stretch, causing discomfort.
I notice that when I walk, I will get a deep ache in the right lower quadrant (sometimes on the left) - it feels like a big cramp, seems to be induced by certain positions, walking or exercising. When I did a google search, they stated that these pains occur more on the right then on the left because of the way the uterus tilts. These will go away when I rest.
Hope this helps.
I'm 23 weeks and experienced the same thing yesterday. I called my Ob and he brought me in and checked my cervix and all. Everything was good. He said if you feel this way just move around and change position. It should go away. Also, if you're not drinking enough water, this can happen. So, drink up. Even alittle gatorade if you're slightly dehydrated. I did and it eased up. Rectal pressure?! Ugh! Dr said probably from the baby's postion on my rectum and highly recommended a belly support band. I'm not that large but he said it's all in the position of the baby and many women feel a difference when using these. :o) Hope this helps
thank you ladies for all the comments..so i went home and laid down and i finally fell asleep so i guess it went away lol..now i just feel huge and sore hahaha im thinking maybe im growing and plus with having problems with constipation it jst mught be like gas or something but as of now i dont feel no contractions and i feel better
Call your Dr, it's better to be safe than sorry! I'm sure everything's fine but you will just cause yourself stress and worry if you don't do anything about it. The midwives have always told me if you're worried about anything to call them... no matter what it is. Braxton hicks for me is a little uncomfortable but not at all painful, my uterus just tightens for a few seconds then relaxes. Good luck, I'm sure you'll be fine x
i would call your doc and see what they say, what my doc's info that he gave me said that with BH contractions if you feel more then 5 in one hour to go to L&D or the ER cause it may be a sign of preterm labor. Goodluck hun!
My midwife told me if your having cramps/BH just lay down on your left side and put your feet up a bit. rest for an hour or so and see if they stop. You could call a hotline or go to the hospital, but going to the bathroom can also caus uterine irritaion.
Good luck girlie!!
hey how strange i been feeling the same way! my belly tightens then gose soft and if walking and dose it i have to stop or hold my side because so painfull and i get the but were you get the cramp type feeling like you need number 2 but sometime dont go x also get a really hot flush then eyes go fuzzy and i go dizzy and need to sit down or think will pass out its horrible and can get hot all a sudden and feel really sick i got mid wife tomorrow so asking if it normal but in a way i sort of feel abit better because if both got same sort of thing and both 22-23 weeks maybe it normal? i really not sure what to do x i hope your okaii x
I say there is no point in taking any chances. Is there a doctor on call, or a nurse hotline that you can phone? Always better safe then sorry, and if you feel like you should go, then go.
I've had a huge problem with constipation and I get some pretty painful stuff going on before I can finally do #2, but I don't think mine are braxton hicks. They go away as soon as I am done in the bathroom.
But if yours aren't going away, then probably more likely to be BH?? I don't know?
