Well I am sooo excited to finally join this group. I got my BFP at 2:30 am this morning! My EDD is 01/20/2011. My DH and I have been ttc for 3 yrs. This was my 5th round of clomid and we are both so over the moon. I just pray to God that this is a healthy complication-free 9 months. I threw up this morning... go figure the moment you find out is when m/s decides hit you like a brick wall. :0) I just have to tell myself as long as the baby is ok then I'll deal with whatever comes with it lol. DH and I have 4 names picked out 2 of each gender... I wonder how many I'll have......
ok so i already put on here my DD name - Sophie Marie. It just sounded pretty to me at the time. if its a girl Emily Grace, kinda close in rhythm sorta lol for a boy we initally chose zakkary james.. Heres why. my husband loves ossy osbourne ( rolling eyes) and zakk wylde is his guitar player. He also like Metallica ( rolls eyes again) so james was from the lead singer james hatfield...... I picked Christian Gabriel names from the bible and sounds pretty and runs smoothly. Opposits attract lol
Great names.....well i am due 1/2/11 and had my first ultrasound on 5/6/10 which only showed yolk sac,,,wow talk about a nervous wreck so they did another 5/13 and we saw a baby and heartbeat! as far as names...if its a girl she will be named Addisyn Kay and for a boy...hmmm thinking something like Gauge. My little man is named Parker James after his grandfather Claiborne Parker and James after other grandfather and DH.
Of course everyone asks me why I chose my daughters names;) I chose Saylor Rose because my husband and I were both Sailors in the Navy (not at the same time, we met years later) and Rose is my Grandmas name. Our second, Piper Marie...we named her Piper because my DH liked it and we needed a different name because we didn't want a Saylor and a Jennifer:) We need a name that was different like Saylor was:) Marie is my middle name. Our third baby...Story for a girl is named after my GG grandma and Maddox Bradley "Bradley is after my Dad. No reason for Ryker Ryan other than I really like it:)
no one is really asking "why" about the names we've chosen, but it is very unusual name and everyone just kinda looks at you nodding their head without much of a smile... But being in Nebraska in the middle of nowhere when I'm used to Dallas/Ft. Worth, TX is a major culture shock and people here have very simple usual names. In TX you hear lots of different kinds of names and that's just what my husband and I like... I choose names based on how they sound, but then I look at the meaning then I google it to make sure nothing weird comes up... LOL... I originally wanted Khiyah for a girl, and thought I had made it up (Khi for Christ and Yah for Yahweh) but then I googled it and it acutally means Mother Earth in some language, so I nixed it because I don't care for that meaning at all. So, ilaria means cheerful in Italian and Brielle is short for Gabriel which means God is my strength... but of course I'm just hoping and praying for a girl... could be a boy, never know... LOL
I am so excited to be joining your forum!
Just had a FET transfer on April 28th, and went to the doctor this morning at 5 weeks, 5 days preg and saw and heard the HB (first time preggers). They said everything looks perfect and I was due around Jan 12th.
I had been having a little bleeding since last sunday and was worried the dreaded M was happeining, but they said some women bleed during the first trimester and to not worry about it to much. But today I am enjoyng the awesome news!
As far as baby names, scared to do any of that now, just praying everyting is ok one day at a time:)
Loads of happiness to us all!!
