I am asking this question because my ultrasound at 36 wks said that my little boy weighed 8lbs 7oz. I had to get another sono a two wks later (38 wks) and the baby weighed 10lbs 11oz. After I had that sonogram, I went into meet with my Doctor to discuss what was going on. She said my baby is HUGE and there is no other way but a c section due to all the risks. I was wondering why would they let me go that far when my little boy is almost 11lbs? She said that they are not allowed to induce before 39 wks due to a large baby, but when I was 34 wks I had told her I had my daughter who was born 9lbs 13oz, and it was a really bad experience. The Doc said she wouldnt let me get that far with my son. Yet, here I am with almost a 12 pounder give or take. Has anyone heard the same thing that you are not allowed to induce because of the baby being big? She even said that he is not even big she used the word HUGE, and said he is passed the 4,400 grams. (cant really remember what she said exactly.) I just hope my son is okay for being this big. I go to have my scheduled c section jan 18th. I dont want him gaining any more weight =/
