Anyone had some light bleeding up until now?

I had some light bleeding yesterday although only minimal but nonetheless was rather shocked. I did have the same thing during my first pregnancy and it was around the time my periods were due during the first trimester. I have a 27-28 day cycle and it was around 27 days yesterday. I had cramping yesterday more than the usual but I am feeling OK this morning, other than the usual nausea and bloatedness. I haven't observed anything yet today, i.e. no light bleeding or cramping as of yet. Anyone else have that or experienced it in a previous pregnancy?

oh gosh....hope everything is ok....i cannot imagine being in your shoes....i would be demanding an appt today but im not very good with patience and i worry over everything

relax until then and remember there are plenty of women who had spotting throughout their preg and all was well

My light bleeding come back today:-) I woke up with some cramps at 4 am and wiped and found pink, then again after I went back to sleep it was more red and then a few hours ago it was more brown. I haven't been really cramping (except at 4 am) so I'm just going to monitor it over the next few days. I have my OB appointment on Friday, so I will be feeling much better when I get an US done and a confirmation that everything is OK. Come on Friday!!!!

Yeah I actually did have some pink spotting again a day after my last post above. I talked with both my midwife and OB and they said if I have strong cramps I should be worried or red bleeding. You can't help but not worry. Glad that it's gone, hope it doesn't come back!

I had the same thing happen- first it was pink and then brownish. I was a mess.  I was at about 6 weeks and that is when they saw 2 embies and figured it was my uterus expanding.  I have heard pink or brown spotting is okay- it is the bright red that can be worrisome- then I have read friends having bleeding and things being fine- thank goodness!  yes, yes, yes to healthy babies!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks guys :-) Well yesterday everything was fine (and this morning, it's early morning here in Germany) and I didn't have anything, just cramping which may be due to the uterus expanding. I just have to watch out and just be really alert. As  said, it happened in my first pregnancy and you just can't help but freak out. Hope our babies stay healthy :-)

i hope everything is ok....i have seen these posts go one of 2 ways....it sounds like since its light spotting is not too much of a concern......some women get their period throughout their preg so maybe your body is just trying to figure out how to adjust :)

i hun i had a small brown bleed the day i found out i was preggo it gutted me tbh but it was just the once when i wiped and nothing after that then again two days later same again only once when i wiped and since then iv had a scan and everything was healthy and a heartbeat too xx
oh it also showed i had a small clott to the left of my sac but sed it was healing this also can bleed out or disolve into the body
