Update..........

Question

Well appears as though many Jan 2012 babies are becoming Dec 2011 babies! Hoping all babies are Mums are healthy and enjoy the special time together.

I started havin painful contractions Friday early evening and back pain. On saturday, I called my midwife and we meet at the hospital, where I had a CTG (NST) and internal exam. I had several strong contractions during the CTG and the internal examination revealed that the little one has engaged and deep in the cervix (a little uncommon for subsequent pregnancies, this is my second). I am 2 cm dilated and my mucous plug was started to dissolve. She was rather suprised as we expected an early Jan baby, but now we expect her to come within the next few days. The contractions are still there but have reduced. I'm 37 wks 2 days today, would like her to be born with at least 38 wks but sometimes we just don't have control over it!

Hi ladies! I haven't been on for a while as my little one was born on 12/21. He was 12 days early but is happy healthy and perfect. Ryan Michael was 7 lbs 15 oz and 20 in long. We are so exhausted and excited :). Congrats to all the Jan moms and hope the babies are all doing well.

I had my baby girl Aubrey on Christmas Eve at 11:05pm. She was 6lbs 3oz and 20in. She is perfect.

Thanks ladies!! I'm definitely being induced tomorrow as my U/S is unchanged - still low fluid. I'm nervous and hoping it all goes well!! Can't wait to meet our little girl. Zazou, you must be getting close!! Good luck to you as well and can't wait to hear how it goes!!

Just want to let you guys know, my contractions are much more stronger and regular. My NST was more eventful today, have the feeling she'll be here very soon!!!!

Hopfulcb: best of luck, the most important thing is that the both of you are healthy. I agree try inducing first (my last pregnancy was induced) and then see how it goes.

both boys are home and doing well....they wake, get changed, eat and back to sleep

ive been working on increasing the amount of their formula to help them sleep longer....eventually ill be able to sleep at night again

How exciting!! I'm so glad your boys are doing well! Are they home now?? Zazou, can't wait to hear your update!!!! I will also likely have my little girl early. I am at 36 weeks only but have low amniotic fluid and plan is to induce on Thursday unless my U/S is better tomorrow. My OB also thinks I'll probably need a C-section but will try the induction first. I'm hoping all goes well and she is healthy!! Hope everyone is doing well!!

there is another mom on fb who was due in jan and is in active labor right now....so exciting that the jan babies are finally starting to make their appearance :)

my boys will be 5 weeks tomorow and little nicholas is weighing 4 lbs 11 oz and jacob is 7 lbs 10 oz...its amazing just how tiny nicholas still is and how big jacob is....but the important part is that both boys are healthy and growing bigger
