fun, inexpensive gender determination test

last i dont know about you but i am so impatient when it comes to waiting for the gender u/s....i did a bunch of online research and i stumbled on the baking soda test

i had to try it....LOL

so here's what you do:
put about a tablespoon of baking soda in a cup and then add your urine to the cup

They say that if it fizzes its a boy and if it does nothing its a girl

i did this and mine foamed like a beer just being poured but never fizzed (or maybe the foam is the fizz)

im just curious what other women get...plus this is inexpensive and for fun only...i woud never rely on these results but it sure will help pass the time

All these gender tests are just for fun of course, anyway we all have a 50:50 chance :-)

If it foamed then it reacted and I think it indicates a boy (or in your case boys).....

Mine foamed and fizzed so let's see what our U/S tell us in 3 weeks.

Just a note, urine is usually acidic and acids react with baking soda. Depending on the person's acid-base status, the pH of urine may range from 4.5 to 8. And if you don't drink enough, that makes your urine also quite acidic. I not a great drinker at the moment, so I'm not suprised mine fizzed alot. I think most of us will be fizzing.
