morning sickness????? not sure

I just had the weirdest thing happen- hope this is not tmi.  I was taking a nap and woke up and immediately went to the bathroom and vomited-  a lot.  No time wondering if I was going to- I almost had to run!  I have felt fine all day- just a little tired.  I have not been morning sick at all- a little nausea and food aversions but no vomiting.  It was so odd.  I feel okay now- my stomach is a little queasey.  I had lunch at a restaurant- but I have eaten there before- I did have spicy food.  I was given an new prenatal vitamin.  I took the vitamin before my nap- maybe that was it?  I have never had a problem taking vitamins.

Is this how morning sickness goes?  Is it instant vomiting?  I feel dumb- but I really want to know what caused it! Thanks.

I agree I think that it is more likely to be associated with pregnancy. It can happen at any time. A friend of Mine started at 8 weeks until 12 weeks, that's all she had during the pregnancy. My nausea has good and bad days, and the dry heaving is what I've had too. Terrible!!!

I have to admit, I'm having a hard time taking my DHA tablet, I had to stop taking it because of dry heaving. The Vitamin is small and ok, thankfully.

Hope you feel better :-)

sounds like morning sickness....sometimes there is no reason it just happens....i rarely ever had a vomitting spell....i only had nausea and dry heaving (which hurts so bad)....

they say with twins your symptoms are twice as bad but other than super tired all the time i feel pretty good

i had a lot of nasuea with my last preg and my doc told me to take my prenatal at bedtime...not sure if that made a difference or not because i was still nauseous all day long

these babies sure do take over our bodies while inside :)

I think it was the vitamin, they substituted my regular for a generic.  The regular one has never made me ill- I wonder if this is the cause.
