Baby Shower dates!
Just wondering when everyone's having their baby shower?! Mine's in 15 days, Nov. 4th! I can't wait! If you've already had yours, what did you get? What do you still need? I need diapers, wipes, shampoos, etc, the most, so hopefully I get lots of those!
I know mine is before Thanksgiving but that is all they told me, the date is a surprise :) so every weekend I will be dressing up and doing my hair and makeup just in case :)
Baby shower went great, got LOTS of diapers and wipes, and cute clothes of course!! :) Buying the crib this weekend or next, and the dresser so we can start setting up! :)
Mine's tomorrow ladies!!!! I'll post after, hopefully we get lots of cute girl stuff!! :):)
@ ktowne. I can relate with the family lol my baby shower was the first in 3yrs I had seen some of them! Have fun regardless, sure it'll be better this time
This is my first shower. My husband and i eloped so i didnt get a bridal shower and this is my first baby so im pretty excited!
Mine is going to be on Nov 24th. 2 days after Turkey Day! So im hoping everyone can still make it, but i had a lot of family out of town the weeks before, and I dont want to wait any longer than that! Im already getting impatient about not knowing what all i need to get myself, lol. I've got plenty of clothes i believe, bassinet/pack'n'play, swings/bouncies. So mostly i need the necessities - diapers, wipes, washes, tub, bottles, blankets etc. I dont have a crib, stroller/carseat, dresser yet. I've had some offered to me, but Id like to see first if anyone decides to buy one new for me, it'd be nice to have some things brandnew! But i am excited!
I had 3 with my daughter...I don't even know if I'm having one this time...mainly because of not knowing what I'm having.
Well, the more the merrier right?! I have quite a large family, so I don't mind, plus I hate all the spot light being on me! I hate opening presents in front of people, too haha!
Ktowne the only reason im having two is because ALL my family is in ny and my husband and i live in ky near his family.
I'm glad you had a good baby shower makebaby, my son's baby shower had a little drama, so hoping this one isn't so bad. My SIL (who we've all cut from our lives because she's SO rude, among many other things, to say the least) felt it was necessary to put "birth control" in our advice to mom box, and talk through ALL of the games so bad we had to stop the games, and then complained because she only got a 10$ gift certificate for a gift... needless to say she's not invited this time and hoping it goes better, haha! I'm nervous about people showing up, too! I was last time!
Had our 1st (& last) shower last week had other children in UK so didn't throw showers. It was fun! Only need to get a baby carrier, bath, pampers & stock up on a few tins of infamil (in case doesn't take to the breast & can NEVER have too many diapers
Awe, I've only ever had one, I had one with my son and one with my daughter, now, because we combine both families, my husband's side doesn't really throw showers, my MIL didn't even through my SIL one, her friend ended up doing it. But that's okay with me, I hope we all get lots of stuff for our babies!! :)
Im having one Nov 10 from my sis and sil and then one on Nov 18 from my mom and her side of my family. Can't wait! ;-)
