Were they just braxton hicks? You can have contractions but unless they're really really painful (sometimes they'll be really really painful and not do anything to your cervix, too) or regular, with other symptoms of labor, it's nothing to worry about. I went in for contractions around 21 weeks, and I was having contractions but they weren't changing my cervix so they were just normal, I've had a few since, nothing serious. They shouldn't last a long time, be regular, or change your cervix at all, though. If you're ever worried again just go in, that's what they're paid for, and better safe than sorry! :)

Same thing happened to me... I went in a few times and they monitor me and send me home,  its been going on for a few weeks now and everythinh is still ok Thank God... Drink alot of water and try to take it ez... Everytime i start getting them i drink alot of water and they go away, if they dont i would go to l&d... When u go in dont leave not knowing what u wanna know, ask to talk to a doctor and have him/her explain what the contractions mean and if u should be worried or not...
