I live in MN had my daughter in Dec 03 due now in Jan. Honestly it wasn't a big deal. More stuff to take to the hospital but as long as the car runs and has gas you should be fine! I'm actually looking forward to my time off not having to go out or drive in it anymore! Even more reason to stay cuddled in pjs all day.

I live in CT I'm so nervous. I hope we don't get a bad winter this year. Last year we got hit with a bad snow storm in Oct. Leaving many without power for 2 wks we had local schools open for anyone that needed to shower... Holloween was even canceled... I just hope we don't get anything like that again

Glad to hear. I'm not the only one. I received my flu shot. My midwife told me it was recommended

zoey, us too!! We didn't get ANYTHING for snow last year, and this year we're expecting to have one of the worst winters in a longgg time, great news since my doctors office is an hour each way, ugh!! I'll be having someone ride with me to my appt's, but my doctors office isn't open Fridays, and that's the only day my husband has off, so it will have to be my mom most likely!

amarie, I don't think that's mean at all, very few people will be touching either of my children, if one of us gets sick, we all do! Haha

I'm also a little scared to have my twins in the winter since I live in ny. I plan to keep them in a huge bubble until spring lol. There was some controversy if a pregnant woman should get the flu shot but I personally made the decision to get it with hopes of passing some immunity to them since they won't be able to get the vaccine. It sounds a little mean but I won't be letting a lot of people touch them.

Oh yeah I had my first in Aug. But I'm a little more lucky than you all cause I live in Alabama. Winters aren't too bad here in the south but it is a big change from a summer child. And zoey u are right I was miserable being prego during the summer

Yes!! Our weather in MD is so unpredictable and crazy sometimes. Last year we got basically no snow, so im sure with my luck we'll get a blizzard this year while im going into labor!! But on the bright side, atleast we werent super pregnant during this HOT summer (we had like 10 days straight close to 100 ughh!)

Ohh I posted about this a while ago, YES! Terrified!! I had my son in the summer, so this is new to me. Driving in labor, an hour to my doctors office (plus visits before that!) and then driving home with a newborn, in the snow, I'm so scared! Plus colds and bundling the baby up, going out in snow at all, it's all scary for me! My winters are also pretty bad here, in NY.
