Weight Gain

Hello!  Quick question. Have any of you experienced a lot of weight gain (like more then normal)? I'm 32 weeks pregnant and have already gained 30 pounds.  This is my 2nd pregnancy and with my first one I gained 40 pounds and lost all but 5 before getting pregnant with number 2. My doctor doesn't seem concerned but it still makes me feel like I shouldn't really be gaining this much...not sure why. Anyone have this problem? Is it normal?

i'm currently 35 weeks and have gained 38 lbs, at first I was really bothered by it because with my first pregnancy on the day I delivered I was 135lbs and my son was 8 and a half pounds, this baby is also shaping up to be a big one but six weeks after I had my son I was already back to my pre-pregnancy size, hope its the same with this one even though I have put on much more weight this time around, I am currently 150lbs

Thanks for responding! It kills me to step on the scale each time. I don't get why I've gained so much. I eat like I did before I was preggo (and I was relatively healthy). Glad to hear you were back to your regular size so quickly! I hope that is how it is with me!! Thanks!
