I've heard it can go either way. All I've heard though is that pitocin makes contractions feel stronger than if brought on their own. I will also be induced tomorrow night. I'm now 2 days overdue. Good luck to you, you'll do great!
I was induced with my first pregnancy. At first it wasn't bad, I figured I could deliver without the use of an epidural. All of a sudden it was like hitting a brick wall, my contractions came on stronger and more intense. I opted for the epidural as I could no longer stand the pain. Each person is unique. I have only heard that being induced makes labour more painful, however, I have never experienced labour without induction so I have no basis for comparison. My due date is today and I'm still 100% closed. I have an appt on the 12th and will likely be booking my induction then. Good luck ladies.
I have done both, the induction did make contractions stronger
