I tested positive for gbs strep b.
Doctor says its common and most adults carry the bacteria at some point in life.
She says I'll get antibiotics during labor and delivery and me and baby will be fine.
But....
I'm still upset and worried.
Anyone have this happen

Nothing to worry about. I tested positive 15 years ago and was given antibiotic during labor. Now with these last 2 pregnancies, one 5 years ago and now I've tested negative so it can be hit or miss!

Yes I did with one. They didnt have a chance to check with my last one since I went into labor at 37 weeks. I was negative for this baby. Its really no big deal. They will give you the antibiotic in your iv and my babies were fine. There is nothing you could have done and I was told its common.

Yup with both previous pregnancies and expecting it with this onr.... Really nothing to worry about, as your Dr said you will get antibiotics through a drip during labour and that's it.... And trust me it will be the last thing on your mind lol... Good luck :)
