Getting induced and feeling scared
I don't know why I'm crying but i just feel anxious. And my iv is so uncomfortable. Can i ask then to moved it up my arm? Aeay from my wrist?

Baby Rhys arrived at 1am this morning (about 7-8 hours after the epi) after only 40 minutes of pushing. He is healthy and strong weighing in a 8 lbs 7 oz. Congratulations LisaMarie3388!! Welcome baby Luke!
Baby Luke arrived an hour after epi I wonder if i could have made it without. He was an 8 pounder and only about 30 minutes of pushing but it was hard to figure out how to push with so much numbness. Thank goodness for the mirror they put in front, it really helped! Did your little boy say hello yet?

I got an epi in the past hour. The contractions were painful but not un bearable. What put me over the edge was the catheter monitor they put in my uterus. Every contraction that thing wiggled and broke my concentration.
Im getting much stronger ones now, breathing through them, they are coming every 3 minutes. Trying to hold out for the epi as long as i can.
I just started feeling some tightening and im at 7ml. The water break for me will be in another hr when doc stops by lunch time. I know that will definitely move things along for you. Try to keep your bladder empty and stand up and sway or move the best you can which is hard with all these cords! Movement also helps progress.
We are having a boy. My pitocin is up to 10 mL/hr and I don't really feel anything yet. The just broke my water.
Oh good. Mine is a little irritating too. Im in San Diego Ca. This is my second i have a two yr old but wasnt induced so whole different experience. Good luck we will see our little one's faces soon. Are you having a girl or boy or surprise? I have a boy this is another boy and we are done :)
I'm in Texas. I'm feeling better. They moved my iv and I'm feeling more comfortable asking for things.
I am being induced this morning only been here for two hours and I am so nervous too. My heartbeat keeps racing from anxiousness. You are not alone I'm right here with you we can do this! I came in crying also but I think it helped me relax a little. Where are you located?
