first labour pains?

Thought my little girl was wanting to come am hour ago.. must have been a false alarm though.. pain woke me up. Nothing like I've felt before. Lasted 20/30 seconds and would come back about 10 minutes later. It happened 4 times. I am now sitting upright and have been for 20 mins since the last pain.. nothing. False labor? No bloody show or any sign of water or mucus.. bub #1..

Ya i get confused myself between the real stuff and the false, i went in last friday night and they told me best way to.tell if.its labor.or.false labor is the contractions,  if they r not gettinf pain wise worse and worse and time.getting closer and closer and at least 3-5 mins apart and also and she ment like goes from bh squeeze pain to a omg i cant walk during contraction type pain. She said if its consistant contractions try chaning position, if ur laying try sitting up Indian style and see if thst eases them or if ur standing or been really active try laying down and relaxing. Also drink lots of water that will help too. A big one i.guess too is if ur water breaks or u think.ur water is leaking call and go straight in. But really go in or at least call.ur virthing center for dr on call to ask if whats happening is ok, they will tell u right away!
