40 wks baby movement

Just wanted to know what kind of movement your baby was doing before labour for anyone who just had baby. I'm 40 wks and bub hasn't stopped moving like crazy for the last 3-4 hrs. Mostly all down really low. Bubs heads is down at every checkup  so I assume it's head/arms shoulders are doing all the work. I thought they were supposed to slow down but it hasn't  stopped moving for hours! Feeling a bit nervous now. I've had a very active bub throughout pregnancy but this is non stop. Makes me wonder if labour is near, or if something is wrong.. x

It's almost time for birth at least that's what I heard. 39 +1 mine is moving like crazy too when throughout the whole pregnancy she was calmed. I think they're moving down the birth canal and getting ready for birth: ) can't wait

I'm 40+2 and he's only moving a little here and there,  but he's been laid back the whole time except for when he turned head down.  Maybe you're little one is wiggling further down to get closer to the birth position.
