You will be fine get the epidural and you wont feel anything. I honestly didnt feel a darn thing and after my son came out i felt like a million bucks. I am in baby #2 due in 38 days and i am not scared. You will do fine. Just relax

Push the risks out of your head. If your pregnancy has been low risk, don't stress yourself over outcomes that aren't likely. Remember that modern medicine is highly effective at minimizing risks and being prepared for any spontaneous ones.Don't ask what could go wrong or go looking to find out because then you're definitely going to cause unnecessary stress to yourself and baby.
As for the pain, there are many management options. I got an epidural with my first and barely felt a thing until they turned it off so I could push. I'm going natural this time, but the epidural made me not feel a thing for most of my labor. You can switch positions, try breathing exercises, have someone massage you, take a warm shower, get actual pain meds in an IV. There are a whole slew of things. You'll be fine.
