5 weeks pregnant and no symptoms?
Hi there,
I am wondering if it is normal not to have any symptoms at 5 weeks? The only symptoms I have are very hungry all the time and sore bbs.....Im concerned, I have a u/c next Monday, but I am wondering why none of my symptoms kicked in at 5 weeks? Anyone had the same?
I already had 1 m/c at 6 weeks, so I am concerned...

yeah, I know....I was SOOO hungry week 3 and 4..week 5 i was ok, and now I am week 6 and back to being pretty hungry!!

I'm 5 weeks today and on any given day I might experience sore breasts, mild cramping, back ache, fatigue or dizziness. I've also noticed I'm getting hungrier more frequently throughout the day. So far, I haven't experienced morning sickness. This whole thing still feels so surreal to me so I'm almost hoping for more intense symptoms. :)

I might not get that far, my light nausia on and off could be it, u know? many people are different..I don't necessary wish to throw up, just a little something to show me that I am good :) Can't wait till next tue's appt!! You are 2 days ahead of me :)
Thank you !!! Any nausea is good news, so don't worry yourself sick. You will be where I'm right now in a couple of days ... as I'm at 6w 3d today. :)

Well started down the period of nausea and what i think is Morning Sickness. I start heaving but don't throw up and this happens only when I brush early in the morning and happened in the past two days .. today was a little different, as I actually threw up and something really bitter and yellow (it even stained the sink for a bit, until i washed it down the drain) came out. Thinking that this is Bile or just some acids in my stomach, as I am feeling ravenous early AM.
I still don't have a problem keeping my food down for the rest of the day. Not sure what this means? Am I finally morning sick or is this something entirely different?

Wow, everyone has problems, what do u know...I am not on Clomid anymore, last time I got preggo on Clomid and then it didn't work for me anymore..so i did injectables....My case is that I don't get regular periods - no ovulation.
After I had first m/c, it took me 7 months to get preggo again and it was very painful experience.....so I am praying extra hard as well for this baby to stick!!
Yes, Novm 10 I will be 6 weeks and there should be a bean...maybe not hear the heartbeat but the bean should be developing....I can't wait , very nervous and just look horrible...cuz its all i think about, like paranoya...
Lack of symptoms doesn't help u know....

My second U/S is Nov 18 ...hope to see a bean then :) and if all goes well, hear a heartbeat as it will be 7w by then. You said your U/S is monday, is that the Nov 10 Monday? Please keep me posted. I will be praying for both our babies.
Just to give you a little bit of background in my case: been trying for the past two and half years .. initially had problems as there was a fibroid in the Uterus, which needed two intra-uterine surgeries to get the fibroid out which took almost 1 and half year to get that in order and then we found out my thyroid was out of whack, took almost 6 months. GYN asked me to start Clomid this cycle - and lo and behold BFP!! even before we started the Clomid - so I am putting in extra time at the altar for a healthy and happy baby!!

i have very few, i do feel really sick, though i was gonna be sick this morning but it didn't come, i eat like a pig right now, also i am peeing a lot and am very tired.
I went to the doctors today about it.

I know the feeling .. I have been praying every day that I start feeling awful sooner than later :-) .. but nothing yet.
Anya, I hope all goes well and I will also wish for your baby's well-being and hope that you start having morning sickness very soon. Keep your hopes up - being positive helps.
Also, I remember reading somewhere that Vitamin B6 will help with the progesterone. I'm sure your OB/GYN is tracking this and giving you all the help - but just wanted to throw in my two cents worth. Lots of sticky baby dust to you.

Oh God I know what you mean!! I want to feel aweful to know that I am pregnant!! Cuz right now I have no symptoms and Im soo scared to see no bean in u/s next Monday!!!!!!
My last beta was on 18dpo and it was 1906...now they want to see a bean on Monday ( I will be 6 weeks..)...

I was under RE care since 14dpo, so my HCG testing was on day 14 (297), then 48 hours later (806), and then the third time was (1906)....so, I was only about 4 weeks then...
now I am 5.5 weeks pregnant, so I will probly be due in July 09...but I don't want to think about it riht now because I haven't seen the bean yet, u know? Im going for u/s Monday ( will be 6 weeks 1 day then), and my RE said that he should see a bean in my sac...

With my first pregnancy (7 year old girl now), I didn't even know I was pregnant until 5 1/2 weeks. Even then I didn't have ANY symptoms till about 7 weeks when I started dry heaving on a regular basis. This time, I am 5 wks 6 days my bb's are consistantly sore and I feel a little woozy every once in a while. This is also my 8th pregnancy (5 m/c's and 1 chemical). I don't know about you but I would love to have morning sickness and feel horrible just to have some reassuance that things are going well but everyone is different. I know my hcg levels are very high and that is what usually makes symptoms more severe. I wouldn't worry - hopfully you will feel awful soon!

Same problem .. no symptoms here as well .. just getting very worried .. however my hcg from Nov 3rd bloodwork came back at 13,215 (third test) so hoping that all is fine.

Hi, does anyone else have no symptoms at 5 weeks ? Because I don't feel pregnant AT ALL
I have some symptoms (bloating, cramps, slight backache, mood swings, peeing a TON, etc.). I think I've felt a little wave of nausea here and there but nothing crazy serious.
I'm getting my blood drawn probably tomorrow to make sure everything is okay since I did use Clomid two cycles before conceiving. My doc probably won't schedule an ultrasound though, which is fine.

Since I am under fertility care, they did check my HCG level, and a third beta was 1906, which doubled, so that was good...
They want to see me at 6 weeks because there should be a sac and a bean, maybe not a heartbeat but definately a bean. That's what was missing last time...
That's why they want to see me early enough...
Let me know when you get any symptoms, anything yet?

It is normal. Symptoms, for me anyway, didn't kick in until 6-8 weeks. I'm still under 5 weeks along and keep worrying, too! I'm getting my progesterone and HCG levels checked. You should do the same to help ease your mind! 5-6 weeks is too early for an ultrasound. You won't see much and you probably won't see the heartbeat. I'd go closer to 8 weeks! Just my 2 cents.
