Antibiotics in ealry pregnancy

Just wondering if anyone has taken antibiotics in early pregnancy? I am ten weeks and have the flu so the dr gave me "pregnancy safe" antibiotcs to try to clear up my chest. I know they are classed as safe but i am still a little nervous about taking them!

I'm 9 weeks, and on antibiotics right now (penicillin). Apparently I have a Strep B bladder infection. I didn't even have any symptoms, and it worries me a little. Does anyone know much about this? I'm wondering if I've *always been a Strep B carrier, and that's why my water broke with my son almost 4 weeks early. (Apparently that's a risk with Strep B.)

I'm good my b's are finally not on fire my moods seem to be leveling off my biggest complaint is gas, my sciatica and how big I got so fast. Yes we start to get rid of our symptoms come the 2nd triemster. We will start to experience new things. Is this your first baby? How have you been how was your holiday? When is your next app? Armyprincess: i'm feeling really tired and emotional lately! Not any other pregnancy symptoms though. I suppose they slowly decrease. How are you?

Yes. I was diagnosed a few weeks ago with a uti and was on iv fluids. I had to take 2000 mgs of cephalexin for a week. I seem to be fine I think my uti is back but I googled and the drug was completely safe for the baby. It's actually much worse for the baby if the infection is left undiagnosed. How are you feeling?

i was on antibiotics for a urinary track infection with my first pregnancy. There's nothing to wrry about. the doctor wouldn't give anyhting to you if you, or your baby were at risk.

I took antibiotics at like wk 6 and 7 because i was really sick. All is ok with me now I'm 13 weeks.
