Please Pray

Ok So I went to my high risk ob apt today. They did a u/s that showed a 6wk and 6day old baby. The sad thing is thats what the baby was at 8days ago. Also said the sac is kinda flat. The baby is still alive with a good heart beat. I don't know what to think. They informed me I may or may not miscarry and to come back in 4 weeks. Please pray for my poor baby. I've been crying all day since i found out. DH is trying to be so supportive, but I just don't want hugs or anything right now. I also hate waiting 4 WEEKS to find out something new. I can always keep going to the ER here so they will do u/s to check, but yeah. Please pray for us. I know it's in God's hands. He also said he saw where the bleeding was coming from but didn't elaborate any further. The gest sac has gotten bigger, just not the baby. Any stories or anything at all would be nice.

As long as your baby's heartbeat is strong, I think you should be ok.. do you know i know it ***** waiting 4 WEEKS but hang in there ill keep u in my prayers!!

I will keep you both in my prayers. I agree with the other ladies a strong heart beat is a wonderful sign and they could have measured wrong.

but u dont get it.... it hasn't grown in a week unless the first u/s tech was a moron and measured wrong wich wouldnt surprise me at all.

I'm supposed to be 7wks 4days. I measured 6 wks and 6days on nov 12th and again today. to tell u the truth the first u/s that they measured doesn't even look like they measured the right stuff. i can post pictures of todays u/s and nov 12th u/s if anyone wants.

A four week wait is CRAZY indeed!  As Anya said, hang in there and if the stress gets to you too much ~ go to ER and have your wee one checked out.  Seeing the heartbeat is a good sign.  Try to remember that Ultrasounds are not a precise science. While they are the most precise earlier on in our pregnancies, they can still be up to four days off.  Is it possible you conceived a bit later and that the ultrasound is a bit off?  Until you know more, I suggest lots and lots of movies.  Take some time to yourself.  Try not to worry or stress or think about it too much (I know! I know!  Easier said than done.)  Put your feet up.  Read some books.  Relax as much as you can.  You and your little one will be in my thoughts!  All the best.

Honestly, I think the fact that the baby has a good heartbeat is a VERY GOOD SIGN! I know waiting 4 weeks is CRAZY and my heart goes out to you but hang in there! As long as your baby's heartbeat is strong, I think you should be fine.. do you know what's the heartrate? And 6w6d measurement of the baby? I didn't understand that part...how far along you SUPPOSE to be today and how much did the baby measure?

I'm guessing there is no chance that you are only that far along? It's a good sign that you saw the heartbeat though, hopefully that means that everything will continue to work out well. That's really crappy that they are making you wait 4 weeks. Try not to worry too much and like you said it is in God's hands and he is going to do what he knows is right for you and your baby.
