At this rate I might be the first......

So I had my Normal every wk apt today, and yeah it was bad. I thought it would be.
I'm not leaking fluid.
The dumb associate doesn't think I'm dialated. (I think he got his MD from walmart)
One of my stretch marks ruptured and they think it's a staph infection now and took a culture to make sure it isn't MRSI, or w/e that bad kinda staph infection is.
I have protein and sugar in my urine.
My Diabetes is outta control.
I'll be admitted on Sunday to try to control my glucose

Oh Karen, I'm sorry :( What an awful way to spend the last weeks of your pregnancy. I hope you can keep that baby inside until the 18th!

Im sorry. I had a regular appt on May 14th and I thought it was going to end up badly too, and guess what, it did. I was admitted for possible preeclampsia that day and they discovered I do have it after the results came back from a 24 hour protein check. I have been in the hospital since that day, and wont be going home until I have my baby at 37 weeks. They are planning to induce on June 18th (at 37 weeks) and my original due date is July 9th. By then I will have been stuck here a whopping 36 days plus the recovery time after i deliver. Hopefully your due date is before mine that way if they keep you until you deliver it wont be as long. Its torture being here all day and night, and its especially bad when ALL of the doctors in the WHOLE PRACTICE have learned your name and room number from seeing you so much. Plus they have me on complete bed rest with "bathroom privileges only." Who knew going to the bathroom was a privilege! Good luck and try to take care of yourself in the mean time bc hospitals are no fun, especially when there is no going home anytime in your near future.

Yeah, u got it right. My skin started to stretch to the point it is a open wound now. It doesn't hurt so i didn't think it was infected even though puss was coming out, my fault i suppose. Guess I should have said something sooner. I am on antibiotics 4 times a day. ugh.

ME TOO!!!!  I wanna be in the club too!!!!  :-(

lol

Darkie---pardon me for sounding like an idiot, but explain what you mean by ruptured a stretchmark----do you mean it like tore open and became an open wound??  egads, that seems really painful.

I can't wait to see what my idiot doctor says when I see him next.  If he doesn't completely kiss my @ss, I'm firing him.

I'm right there with you. I want someone to knock me out until after the baby is born. This pelvic pain it's getting worse. Sorry you are having so much trouble with your diabetes. Good luck and keep me posted. We will flip a quarter to see if it's me or you! Oh girl we need to have our babies soon!

Hugs,
Jenny/AP

I'm so sorry things are going horribly wrong for you, it must be very difficult to get news like that when you have issues with your pregnancy to deal with. You must be very stressed. I hope things aren't as serious as they think. I will be praying for you!
