I took a birth class the first time around and am glad I did - it wasnt really lamaze and breathing but rather about the birth process and options, etc. I did not take a breastfeeding class.
This time, we are thinking of taking a birth class (one afternoon class) related to twin pregnancy, but we will not take a class series.
I did take lamaze with my oldest and it did help in labor but I ended up with a c-section. I'm talking with my dr at my next app he is wanting me to have a vag delivery feels it will be safer for me and my lil man but if the baby is as big as my dr thinks it is I will most likely have a c-section. I need a refresher if it's a vag. I will be taking a breastfeeding too. All a refresher. If this is your first you should def take the classes. I found them very helpful at the time I took them. It's also alot of fun it's something your dh can be a part of!

We signed up for a 5 week birthing class where they also give you a tour of the hospital, teach you about breastfeeding and about how to properly put in a car seat, as well as the regular lamaze and c-section info. I figure $50 for five classes is well worth it! We start next week and can't wait.
I AM 36 WEEKS AND WE REMODELED OUR HOME WE LOST TRACK OF TIME AND I MISSED MY CHANCE TO TAKE BIRTHING CLASSES AND ITS TO LATE NOW DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY ADVISE
