Hi there,
I'm worried because all the healthy foods I ate before I started morning sickness, no longer appeal to me. So, at a time when I'm supposed to be eating very healthfully, things like dark leafy greens, many fruits and veggies, etc, are making me sick. I used to only drink water or tea. Tea is making me sick and so is plain water. I seem to be wanting fruit juices, but I know they're full of sugar. So, I'm forcing myself to take sips of water throughout the day, and when I do want lemonade or cranberry juice, I'm diluting them a bit. I also am craving ginger ale. It's not that what I'm eating is horrible for me, it's just that I was such a healthy eater before and now so many foods are making me sick to my stomach and I'm concerned about my baby's growth. I'm finding that yougurt with cereal is okay, toast is safe...with butter, jam, cheese, an egg, etc. I also seem to want tomato-based foods. Do you think this will pass? I can't even look at a banana or orange. My husband came home yesterday and I was eating chocolate pudding. He almost fainted! :) LOL he has never seen me eat processed foods before. I really hope that my vitamins will make up for the nutrients I'm not getting in my food. Is anyone else experiencing this?
