Harmful chemicals in baby care products...

I heard about this from a friend, and wanted to post the link so yall could read it when you get a chance. The dallas/ft worth news did a write up on baby bath products that contain harmful chemicals that cause cancer and skin allergies. If you click on the link below, and then under the small video box on that page, there is a link that says 'read the report,' you will be able to view all of the products that they found to be harmful. I havent finished reading it, but i did get the part where it says that these products are NOT sold in Europe, Japan, Sweden etc bc of the amt of these chemicals...and these are name brand stuff like Johnson's Baby Shampoo! I just thought I would share.

this is very true! Unfortunately, Europe has different baby products that are marketed as being safe when in fact they contain other harmful chemicals that make these products stable and give them a long shelf life...

I used to be a fan of Mustela products , very expensive dermatologist recommended european baby products but I've decided to go organic and all natural for this baby...

ps. Johnson's tear-free shampoo and baby care products are the worst, they contain many artificial fragrances that are supposed to "smell like a baby"... they say it's gentle but in fact they are so harsh that the these tearless shampoos in fact contain numbing agents that prevent a child from feeling the sting of the product in their eyes... and we thought that they just didn't contain any irritants!!!

Don't be fooled by clever marketing executives... they don't care about your kids because they're all about the mighty buck!

Thanks. Interesting I have been using johnsons on all my kids and I used it when I was a kid. I have never heard of this at all. Hmmh.
