Hidden Penis???

So I got my baby circumsized, but in the last few weeks its starting to look really odd down there. Like he has way too much skin and it covers the whole head of his penis. I didn't worry about it but now i'm really starting to get stressed because its like theres no penis at all now. I have to pull the skin back from it and then you see the head pop out. Like even when he pees you don't even see the head of it.
Has anyone else heard of something like this?
Thanks!!

My son is 13 years old and had the same issues at birth and i didnt know till age of 3 there was a big problem he still has a hidden penis today. I personally think it happen at circumcision and he has a large fat pad. Check out hidden penis on the web and see what you think.

I took him to the Doctor yesterday. He said that everything looks fine, other than he has a lot of extra skin, which is from him being a chunky baby. He weighs almost 16 lbs, and not even 4 mnths yet. But the dr. told lme to pull the skin back so it doesn't attach back but other than that he is fine.

My son has the same issue but the dr said the reason his penis is inverted is that his pee pee is a tad on the small side right now and that it will be fine when hes older. He also instructed me to pull the skin back.

Bless your baby boys' hearts!  As a mommy to a baby boy - I can only imagine how bad you must feel for your LOs knowing they have to go through that again.  There should be some sort of repercussions for the midwife/dr./etc that does a circumcision incorrectly...

oh, she also said to *always* pull the skin back and to put Neosporin or Vaseline on it or the skin could possibly re-attach.

YES!  And i am very upset, my doc didn/t even mention it at his 1-mmonth and i forgot to ask.  At his 2 month I brought it up, and she said he will likely need to be re-circumsized around age 1.  I feel terrible for my poor boy and pissed at the mid-wife who did it!  His doc said she has seen A LOT of that lately, where thy don't take enough off... :'(
