First tooth??

Teething is really prooving to be quite the loud event around here.  I thought he has been teething for a while but this is crazy right now.  I can see two trying to break out and oh boy is it a nightmare.

When did your babies get their first tooth if they did??

and what the heck did you do for the pain?

Yup, he has a low fever and also when I hear him wake up I watch him on the moniter and he grabs what he can and chews on it as well as his hands.  Then I wait to see if he will go back to sleep, but inevitably the crying starts.  I actually brought him in my bed with me for the first time in a long time cause I know he was in pain.  He slept for the most part while I just got wacked in the head from his arms flying around.

His gums are really puffy so I hope they are almost through.  This is he#! around here too!  Can't help feel bad, but it is still really hard to get through.

Tried the face cloth, mad him MAD LOL!

Cash cut his first tooth right after Christmas (just shy of 6 months).  It has been followed by a second that is almost all the way through, and now a third that is poking its little head through.  So basically nonstop teething pain since Christmas!  He is fine during the day - very happy little guy - but at night he is not sleeping well bc of it.  He wakes up and just starts knawing on whatever is within reach - mostly his hands.  Then the crying starts.  I have been using Motrin and it seems to help more than Tylenol.  Cash also has ran a fever three different times as well.  I have chalked them up to teething bc they came and went quickly and he had no other symptoms that anything else was wrong.

Anyone elses LO run a lowgrade fever when cutting teeth?

I used Hylands Teething tablets with Anika (she cut her first tooth at 8 months) and it worked well.  I also used Camilia (Hylands).  Both are homeopathic.  If it got really bad I gave her Advil along with the tablets.  She was a terrible teether.  Literally h*** around the house for days until the tooth or teeth cut through.  I am really hoping iliana will be a much better teether.  

Good luck!  Oh, frozen clothes if you haven't tried them yet give a bit of relief.

JT got his 2 bottom teeth the day after christmas DH noticed them coming in. During the day he was great, but at night when he tried to sleep he was very restless. We tried the homeopathic teething pain relief that didn't work. He was sleeping with DH and I so it was messing with our sleep as well so we ended up giving in and getting the nighttime orajel but it wasn't what I wanted so we used that for maybe 2 days then stopped. His teeth were out in 3 days so the teething pain subsided so we didn't have to wrestle with a restless sleeper for to long. I hope Colter's teething pain subsides soon.
