Jeremy's 1yr check-up

Jeremy had his 1yr check up friday he is 27 1/2 lbs and 32 1/2 inces long. He's 95th percentile for everything. He is in the clear for his blood and is where he should be developmentally he's up to date on all his shots. We are so happy and relieved! My lil miracle turned 1 last wknd and I couldn't be more grateful than I'am now. When I think back to everything my dh and I went through during Jeremy's pg and after he was born and dealing with our last m/c right before we conceived him it was such a roller coaster ride! WE are very lucky parents and not one day goes by where we don't think it or say it . I want to say you girls were such a support system during such a very hard pg and I just want to say thanks again you helped me through such a diffacult time! I'm so happy for all of you! I love you all thanks again!

Ok Lilly is a petite so that's why she weighs that much. Go on this link and make some calculations as to percentiles in relation to age and sex etc. I do that for Medina every now and then.

Hey, lilly was 70cm and 7.6kilos at her check up. I might try the incremin when we get back from holidays as since she has been sick she hasn't been herself or eating much lately.

How tall was Lilly at her check-up? Medina was 79 cm and weighed in at 8.7 kg, she was on the border of underweight, but she is also extremely active, the paediatrician had to write that down in her file.

When I was in Syd a few months ago, I got her Incremin, the cherry flavoured iron appeptite booster with the giraffe on the front. Do you know it? After a few days, she started eating better (her initial four teeth saw her eating nothing). When I came back here, I started giving her it again as she started eating poorly again and it has helped. She weighs around 9.5 kgs now, but she still moves alot.

Why don't you try Incremin if she isn't eating well, just a suggestion. It helped us heaps.

Tiger- My girls were always skinnier than my boys I think the girls are smaller. I wouldn't be concerned unless your dr says so. Every baby grows at their own pace. Lilly's bday is coming up. I can't believe how fast the year flew!

Lilly only weighs 16.5 lbs, i was worried but at her 1 year check up the health nurse said she is eating enough and is just really active.

Yay!  Happy birthday Jeremy!  Wow, he is a big boy, Cooper had his 1 yr and weighed 23 lb 11 oz.  I though he was so big, but that was 50th percentile!  His height, tho, is 95th, so you'd think he'd look tall and thin, but nope, tall and chunky! LOL

That's great!!! So happy that everything was OK especially his blood work :-) I feel the same, I am blessed to have Medina, PPD stayed with me for a while, my trip to Australia made it peak and now I feel better and would like to go back to work as well. I have made some great friends here :-)

Awww!  That is WONDERFUL news AP!!!  I am sooo glad to hear how great Jeremy (and you) are doing!!  I know what you mean about this site - it has been such a blessing!!  I had a difficult pregnancy and then PPD hit me hard and I don't know what I would've done without everyone on here to support me!!
