Pregnancy Journals

I've kept a pregnancy journal with each of my pregnancies (this one is no exception) and as I'm reading through them I'm realizing a few things.

First, I didn't feel truly sick until I was 8-9 weeks with my first daughter, and closer to 10-11 weeks with my second daughter. I hope this gives some of you a measure of hope as I know some of you haven't felt ill yet and want the assurance that things may be okay!

Second, writing things down HELPS!!! Especially if you plan to have more children in the future. I've tried those pre-typed out pregnancy journals where you fill in the blanks, but I felt really restricted by those. So I just use regular notebooks for each of my journals (I still update my daughters' journals, too). I wrote their birth stories as well, since the details can become fuzzy over time.

SO MUCH FUN to look over and read again. Plus it really did help me feel better and I'm feeling great about this pregnancy now. I think things are going to be just fine over here!

ladybug, LOL! I'm actually really excited to give them to my daughters (I don't know if a son would care so much about his mom's CM and boob changes) when they get pregnant so they can compare and know that they're normal!

Suzie, totally! I don't feel sick at all.

I find it so funny that they say that morning sickness begins between 4 - 6 weeks yet I find almost no one that gets sick / nauseas that early.  From what I have read - most start getting woozie until 7 - 10 weeks.  Everyone is different that's for sure...

Great idea Joy!  I really want to do a journal, but I don't think my child will want to look back and read what I've been thinking lately!  HA HA HA!  I have been nauseaus 24/7, and not really enjoying my pregnancy that much!  Thanks for sharing the idea!

Thank you so much for sharing Joy, I have been getting really nervous that I haven't really FELT pregnant lately since I don't have the symptoms I did last time around. The more I think about it the only time I felt sick early on last time was when I was a swing. I don't think my boobs started hurting badly until 6 or 7 weeks.

I hope everything is going ok for you since your last post in the other forum, please keep us posted.
