Shower is tomorrow, registry still full???

So I found out about my shower and I wish I hadn't. I have been checking my registry and its still full. Out of like 91 items only 15 are purchased... I am so upset. I didn't even want a shower because i have no family to buy all this stuff. Me and Kevin planned on buying it all and now his family is throwing this shower for me. WHich will most likely consist of his whole family and about 10 of my closest friends...that's it. I hope it goes ok. I am not trying to sound selfish, obviously its so amazing sweet they wanted to do this for me. I just don't have any family at all, I have one brother that lives in ohio and he and his wife are coming for it. Well, his wife is, and that is it. Literally. I just don't want to feel like embarressed cause no one will be there and there will be no gifts there, lol. I know this is silly..

Congrats. You must of had a blast. I remember having my shower well I had no idea it was thrown on my b-day so I kind of had an idea they were going to have a cake meaning my family and dh but I had no idea it was a baby shower. It was awesome. I loved it! Did you get a ton of clothes. OMG the stuff they have out for girls is so cute the dresses awww. I'm glad your day turned out nice!

Wow, I am glad so many people showed up and you got a bunch of stuff!  At least you got all the major stuff.  Did you set everything up yet?

It was nice. There was about 25-30 people there. It was fun. I did get almost everything i need except for the vibrating chair and monitor. WHich we went and got ourselves. Only about 20 things were actually bought off my registry, but it was all the major things I needed. Everything else were minor things that we can get along the way. I am getting nervouse about what I need and don't need....ugh...like i havent' already done this..

It might even fill up tonight - people go the day before - they just got paid etc... dont worry it will be fantastic!!

Don't worry hon!  I agree with the other ladies - lots of people don't shop until the day before or day of the shower.  Also - alot of people will forget to get the store to take the item off of your registry and will also buy things you didn't register for.  Just enjoy your day and have fun with the things you do get!  You don't sound selfish at all, I worry about the same things.  I'm just one of those that feels a little weird expecting people to buy me gifts, so I just assume that no one will want to come to my shower.  But boy was I wrong!  When I got married - everyone wanted to help celebrate, and I'm sure it will be the same with your baby shower!  I hope you have a great time!!

I agree with grose. I do the same thing! Ha! I would do exactly what she said have fun! It's a blast! You will be shocked at how much you get it just goes for miles the stuff and things you would never dream of thinking of you get 5 of them! Let me know what happens!

Someone bought the crib, I know that...so we'll see. I know if it were me, that I would go buy a gift on my way to the shower. But I would think at least some more things would be bought off it. Oh well, whatever is left, we will go buy...

I agree with GRose.  Many go shopping without looking at a registry.  Don't worry, you will get lots of stuff.

Honestly, a lot of people go shopping for a baby shower on their way to the shower, I know almost everyone in my family does. I wouldn't worry too much. You may be getting a lot of gift cards as well.
You're not silly for thinking this way. I used to check my registry all the time and it seemed like nothing was purchased, when my shower came I had a boat load of gifts, it literally took 3 cars to get all my stuff home.
