Very Swollen Ankles...PLEASE HELP

So last night I noticed my ankles were very swollen. Today, they are getting worst. I mean, they are really bad. My feet are puffing out of my shoe, lol. My ankles are cankles, literally. If I turn my feet or ankles any way, I can feel the pressure or water that must be in them. Is this normal? What do I do to stop it and should I call my dr? I am getting nervous as they are getting worse, so can someone please let me know more about this. I didn't have this with my first.

If you sit at a desk get a foot stool or a box to put under you desk, obviously they wont be completely elevated but even a little will help during the day. Try and get up every hour and walk to get some circulation going (take the long way to the bathroom) if you can, go for a walk around the building during your breaks.

Swelling is very normal as long as your face doesn't get really swollen. Make sure to watch your salt intake and keep your feet above your heart level as much as possible. Try and drink more than 8 glasses of water a day, like 10.
When I was pregnant with my son it was the middle of winter (in Wisconsin) and all I could wear was flip flops, my feet and ankles looked like that of a 400 pound women, not exaggerating at all lol
Take care

Sometimes is r/t extra fluid. I think you should call your docs and also strat drinking water more than 8 cups daily, bc water intake helps to push out extra fluid. Also buy some support stockings and try to keep your feet elevated as much as you can.
