I speak Arabic to Medina, my husband speaks German and we speak mainly German to one another in front of Medina, but other than that English. I sing her almost everything in English, don't know in any other language LOL. We were told by our paediatrician that each parent should only speak one language with the child and when we speak only English with each other, then Medina will pick up on three languages. We didn't want to make it that complicated so have stuck with two, English is compulsory here from the 1st grade and there are bilingual kindergartens here.

Medina said mama, and says it often. Baba (dad in Arabic) only sometimes, she says dididadadi (her equivalent of didi - naughty in Arabic) and ma to drink (may is water in Arabic). Have heard zez a few times (breast for BF) and repeats some words especially Nase (nose in German) and Tante (Aunty in German). It justed started to take off the last 4-6 weeks, was suprised at how fast it goes but I expect it to take a while with Medina. We speak 3 languages at home!!!!

It's so gorgeous when they talk, Medina commands the cats and utters something to them at times, it's hilarious. Baby talk is so cute!

Joel said mama first a few months ago and then he learned dada.  Now he is saying baby all the time. He can also say nana for banana.

Aww, lucky you!
Cooper has been saying Dada for a while.  Just last week he started saying his second word, Jax, which is my mom's dog!  And now he is saying "Ee-ii"  which is Eli, is youngest-older brother.
I'm a little bummed that Mama will come after all these, especially the dog!! ;)
That's it, besides uh-oh, and ah-ah-ah (as in, don't touch that!)

SOOOO sweet to hear those little voices!! Way to go Jeremy!!
Cash's first word that he used appropriately was BaBa - the bottle.  Everytime he saw a bottle he would point and yell BaBa!  Then it was DaDa and then finally MaMa, but he says Daddy now, and its his new favorite word :- (  DH loves it though!  He also - amazingly - says "Tickle tickle" when we tickle him and he will come after us with his hand out wiggling his fingers saying "tickle tickle" trying to tickle us!  SO funny!
He repeats lots of things we say but doesn't use the words on his own yet.  I just LOVE hearing that sweet little voice!!

AWWWWW Jeremy, is nice to hear them talking, James first one was mama too,at first he will call out for me all the time until he turned one then  now is papa, papa, papa everywhere so DH is happy as heck.
He still is not fully talking sentences or makes much sense, he knows some other words here and there, specially in spanish but the rest are more like two or three syllabus sounds.
