got a shortie :)

Got back from our 6 month appt.  Colter is only in the 8th percentile for height measuring 15 1/4 inches and 26th for weight at 16.8 oz.   Poor little guy takes after his mom LOL!  After the dr. watched what he is doing already he said to go baby proof our house ASAP cause he is WAY early with everything he is doing.  This may actually be attributed to his short stature since he can balance better and get around easier.  But all in all he is very healthy and that is all we really care about :)  I like that he is doing all this stuff but I really want him to stay a baby for as long as he can.  I am exhausted as it is now and he is just starting to crawl...

Sasha- I think him and your 3 year old would get along well.  My dr. warned me at 2 weeks that he was an "active" baby and to "watch out" LOL!  I swear, the kid NEVER stops, wont even nap during the day...just always go, go, go!

My husband is only 5'10 and I am 5' so we already figured he will be a tiny one.  As long as he doesn't use his small stature to want to become a bull rider I am fine with it :o

He may be small now but they go through numerous growth spurts so he may end up being a big boy, you never know.

i think he is a wonderful, smart guy, for now he might be short but wait until he starts growing up mommy, he will be double your height.

...and after all my research trying to decide what to do he never even brought up the H1 N1 shot...I was really glad cause I think I had decided not to do it now anyway.  I also really don't think there is a big concern about it here.  In Colorado we heard reports all the time, but nothing at all here...
