period after BF?

Hi all,

It's been awhile since I have been on but wanted to see how everyone is doing!  I also have a question for you ladies about your period - have you gotten it yet?  I stopped breastfeeding almost a month ago and I still haven't gotten my period.  I never got my period either while I was breastfeeding.  Im just not sure when to expect it to return.

I got my period about 6 weeks after I stopped breast feeding. I thought it took along time too LoL

Well Medina was born June 9th and I got my period while breastfeeding and that was in November. I stil breastfeed but my periods come every 3-5 weeks so it's still rather irregular. I was suprised when I got them (and sad) because I thought it would take longer. My friend accidentally got pregnant when her baby was 9 months old as she didn't get her period. Every woman is different. Your hormones might have to regulate and go back to normal before they come.
