Question about beta levels & possible blighted ovum

I had my beta drawn again today & they seem to be right on track.  23 dpo 1000 30 dpo 18,439 35 dpo 38,952.  According to my dr, these levels are where they should be for where I am in my pregnancy, I am 6 weeks & 3 days.  The problem is that we are STILL only seeing a sac on u/s.  We discussed a blighted ovum but dr's are thinking it still may be too soon to see anything via u/s.  I am thinking they should have been able to see something by now.  Any input???

i cant believe it! im so sorry to hear this. I hope by next wednesday the ultrasound shows up with a baby... you are in my thoughts and prayers!

Sac is still perfect & round but EMPTY!  I go back next Wednesday for another u/s & probably to schedule a D&C.

Yeah, that's what the problem is.  They were expecting to see the same thing, since what you saw is in the 'norm'.  I go back Wednesday & I am hoping to see something then.

i cant ttell you whats going on because i have never been through it but i had my first ultrasound at 6 weeks and there was a strong HB there and you could see a fetal pole clearly...

I am scheduled for another u/s on Wednesday.  All that is showing is a gestational sac.  The sac has grown & my dr. said that was a great sign but no yolk sac or fetal pole is showing.  He is confused by my #'s because they are increasing as expected for a normal preg.

By now I believe you should have at least seen a yolk sac if it was a viable pregnancy. When are your doctors going to next do an ultrasound?

HCG is great and more than average-I think it can be still too early for heartbeat. What about embryo's size? Sorry- I don't know what's "sac"- I'm new here... If size is normal - I would retry heartbeat a couple of days later! Praying for u!!!
