false labor or just early labor?

2nd baby. So my contractions have been consistant an hour at a time but they get closer and further apart every hour. I don't know if or when I should go to the hospital now. They started at 7min apart for an hr. Then 10min apart for an hr. Then 9 min for 45 min. Then 6min for 30min. Back to 9min now for about 45 min. They are pretty strong and I can feel baby pushing down sometimes.

More false hope today. Was cramping all day and been losing my plug the last few days. All yellow/greenish. Contrx started at 10pm 5min apart, stonger than usual but not super painful. That lasted over an hour. Consistantly 5 min apart, lasting 45sec-1min. Decided to lay down and see if they went away. And they basically did. Just waking up every now and then with one or 2.. I'm so frustrated.

I had that labor with my firstborn, sounds like baby could be back to back, its exhausting being in the much pain and not getting anywhere. Get on your birthing ball or on hands and knees and rock. Hopefully it'll help baby move around so the tightenings aren't so painful so you can get some rest. It's hard, but do try and rest whenever you can. x

I went to get my cervix checked yesterday morning and I was still 3cm but baby's head is verry low. My doc was surprised. She sent me to hospital to be monitored. They sent me home telling me it was probably dehydration (I am 100% positive its not). Had contractions again all day 7-10 min apart. They were rlly painful but never got stronger so I didn't go in again. I'm just annoyed. My body hurts soo much.

I would wait till they get closer together for at least an hour. Like 5 mins apart for an hour. Unless you're having baby now!! :) Which you probably are! lol
